Welcome to the 2026 Board of Directors vote for the Southern Headache Society.
Thank you for participating in the 2026 SHS Board Elections! By voting, you are helping select the leadership of our thriving organization. Voting opens on March 30th, 2026 and closes on April 24th, 2026. You will receive a link by email when the election begins. Voting links are not found on the website since only active members are allowed to vote and each has a unique voting key. You can refer to our Bylaws for any questions.
You will have the opportunity to vote for three officer positions (President-elect, Treasurer, and Secretary), plus four member-at-large positions (5 candidates are nominated). Carrie Dougherty, MD, will transition to Immediate Past-President, and Deborah Friedman, MD, MPH, will transition to President.
