Southern Headache Society Education Scholarship Award
We hope that attendance at our Southern Headache Society meeting may inspire early trainees to choose neurology and/or headache medicine as their specialty. Our meeting allows trainees to establish important networks within the southern region. We anticipate limiting the award to one recipient per residency or fellowship program.
Candidate Criteria
- Must be a trainee in good standing at an accredited pediatric, neurology, child neurology or headache medicine program.
- Must not be a prior recipient of this award.
- Preference to candidates whom have demonstrated commitment to headache medicine in the South.
Application and Supporting Materials
Applicants must complete this online application form and provide the following supporting materials. Be sure to include your full name in the name of your support materials:
- Letter demonstrating an interest in headache medicine, discussing future career goals, and either prior or future interest to headache medicine in the southern region.
- Personal CV.
- Letter of support.
- Headshot
Spots are limited! Applications and supporting materials must be received by June 15th before the annual meeting. Winners will be announced after careful review by the Education Committee.
